Willard Suitcases

http://joncrispin.wordpress.com/tag/willard-suitcases/ The Lives They Left Behind. This is an exhibit of belongings of patients found in an attic in an abandoned building at Willard State Hospital. They found hundreds of suitcases that were taken away from people as they entered the hospital. Some suitcases contained everything a person owned...just to never see any of it again. An extremely moving exhibit...I can't even really find the words to describe it. Many of the people who lived and died in the hospital didn't even really have anything wrong with them. They never took any medication...they were just passed over or given lame reasons as to why they couldn't leave. They were never given a second chance.
